Symptom Possible cause Solution
The hob is not working
and nothing appears in
thedisplay.
There is no power supply
due to a defective cable or
afaulty connection.
Check the fuses or the electric
switch (if there is noplug).
A fuse blows as soon as the
hob is switched on.
The hob has been wrongly
connected.
Have the electrical
connection checked.
The touch keys do not react. The lock function is activated. Deactivate the lock function.
The device switches off
completely and a warning
symbol is displayed.
There is something on the
control panel (boiled over
liquid or a cloth for example).
Clean the control panel.
Error codes appliance
A triangle with an exclamation mark appears in the main display if there is an error code for the
relevant zone. In the power level setting display, the error code is shown and an acoustic signal
sounds.

F0 Safety software
warning.
Abnormal result of the
safety software auto-
check. All heaters will be
switched off.
Reset the appliance (disconnect the
appliance from the power supply for
a while). If this does not solve the
problem, please contact the service
department.

Heater temperature
sensor warning.
Heater temperature
sensor has detected an
abnormal temperature.
The corresponding
heater/s will be switched
off.
Let the appliance cool down. If this
does not solve the problem, please
reset the appliance (disconnect the
appliance from the power supply for
a while). If this does not solve the
problem, please contact the service
department.
F5 Communication
Error.
Internal error. Reset the appliance (disconnect the
appliance from the power supply for
a while). If this does not solve the
problem, please contact the service
department.
F6 Mains zero
crossing loss
warning.
Mains voltage abnormal
operation detected. The
corresponding heater/s
will be switched off.
Reset the appliance (disconnect the
appliance from the power supply for
a while). If this does not solve the
problem, please contact the service
department.
Fc Touch control Error,
switching off all
heaters.
Hot pan too close to the
touch controls, too little
cooling.
Remove the pan and let the appliance
cool down.
Check the aeration and venting.
