Temperature safety
A sensor continuously measures the temperature of certain parts of the hob. Every cooking zone
is equipped with a sensor that measures the temperature of the bottom of the pan to avoid any
risk of overheating when a pan boils dry. In case of temperatures rising too high, the power is
reduced automatically or the hob switches off automatically.
Cooking-time limiter
The cooking-time limiter is a safety function of your cooking appliance. It will operate if
you forget to switch off your hob. Depending on the cooking level you have chosen, the
cooking time will be limited as follows:

P (boost) 10 minutes (after 10 minutes the power will be reduced to setting 9)

Power limiter
Cooking zones that are on 1 phase affect each other. When these cooking zones
are switched on at the same time, the power is distributed automatically. When the
maximum power is reached, a higher power can no longer be set per cooking zone.
You must first reduce the power off a cooking zone or switch off a cooking zone in
order to be able to set a higher power on another cooking zone. Of the cooking zones
connected together on 1 phase, a maximum of one can be set to boost.
When cooking simultaneously on the cooking zone in the center and the cooking zone
at the rear right, the power is pulsing; the available power is offered alternately to one
of these zones. The cooking zone is therefore on, but the power switches on and off.
The pulsing prevents overload on a phase of the power connection. A ticking sound
can be heard and the cooking behavior varies. This is a feature of the power limitation of
this hob.
