Use
Before using the appliance, insert both battery
packs 2 (see Fig. A) and attach the harness z.
WARNING!
► Wear suitable clothing and work gloves
when working with the appliance. Ensure that
the appliance is in working order before each
use. Make sure that the appliance is assembled
correctly. If the on/off switch is damaged, the
appliance must no longer be used. Personal
protective equipment and a fully functional
appliance reduce the risk of injuries and
accidents.
► The turbine wheel continues to rotate for
some time after the appliance is switched
off. Risk of injury from rotating tools.

Observe noise protection and local regulations.
Switching on and off
NOTE
►
Before switching the appliance on, make sure
that it is not in contact with any objects.
Make sure that you have secure footing.
♦ Press and hold the ON/OFF button w for ap-
proximately 3 seconds to turn on the display.
♦ To switch on, press the ON/OFF button w
again for approx. 1 second.
♦ To regulate the blowing power, press the button
for the speed level q.
♦ Press = one level higher
♦ Press = one level lower
The 4 speed levels on the control panel indicate
which level the blowing power is at.
– Level 1 9000 rpm
– Level 2 12500 rpm
– Level 3 15500 rpm
– Level 4 18000 rpm
♦ To switch off, briefly press the ON/OFF button
w once.
Turbo mode
♦ Press and hold the TURBO button e to set the
blowing power to turbo power for a maximum
of 15 seconds. Turbo mode stops automatically
after 15 seconds, but it can be restarted imme-
diately by pressing the TURBO button e again.
♦ Release the TURBO button e to exit turbo
mode.
Checking the charge level of the
battery
The charge level indicator 8 signals the charge
level of the battery packs 2 as long as the appli-
ance is switched on via the ON/OFF button w
on the control panel.
The charge level of the battery packs 2 is indicated
by the corresponding charge level indicator 8
lighting up as follows.
3 LEDs light up (red, orange and green):
Battery charged
2 LEDs light up (red and orange):
Battery partially charged
1 LED lights up (red):
Battery must be charged
Ready2Connect LED
If smart battery functions are supported, the
Ready2Connect LED 9 lights up in the following
manner:
Connect the battery pack
LED flashes 3 times
Connect to the app
LED stays on
Not connected to the app
LED stays off
Tool in update mode
LED flashes continuously
Tool update successful
The LED flashes for 5 seconds
Tool update failed
LED flashes rapidly alternately
