PARKSIDE app
This appliance supports advanced functions when using special smart
batteries. For more information, please refer to the instructions for the smart
battery.
The PARKSIDE app lets you monitor the device and control certain func-
tions. The functions may change with updates to the app and firmware. For
more information on the PARKSIDE app, see the instructions for the smart
battery.
Requirements
To find the device in the PARKSIDE app, the following requirements must be met:
■ The PARKSIDE app is installed on your smartphone and Bluetooth® is activated.
■ The following battery is inside the device: PARKSIDE Performance Smart battery
PAPS204 A1 or PAPS208 A1. This battery is already connected to the PARKSI-
DE app.
The device communicates with the app via the battery.
Connecting the device to the PARKSIDE app
1) Insert the smart battery.
2) Press the On/Off switch u. The Ready2Connect LED o flashes three times.
When the device is connected, the indicator lights up continuously.
3) Open the PARKSIDE app.

Devices. The device is displayed in the list. If the device does not appear
in the list, add the device manually.
Monitoring and controlling the device
1) Devices.
2) Select the device from the list. The device overview page is displayed.

Select the desired setting on the overview page.
Select help if you are unsure. A dialogue box with a description for the
relevant setting is displayed.
