Initial start-up
When used for the rst time, some smoke
may escape. The smoke is caused by bind-
ers which are removed from the insulating
lm of the heater by the heat during rst
use. To ensure that the smoke escapes
quickly, the device should be placed on
the stand area. Be sure to ventilate the
working environment during rst use.
If the smoke/odour is too strong, move the
initial start-up to outside!
Operation
Switching ON and OFF
The device has a step switch (5) which
turns the device on and off. The step switch
(5) can also be used to pre-set the tempe-
rature.
Position "0": the device is switched off
Position "I": the device is switched on, the
temperature is 50 degrees
Position "II": the device is switched on, the
temperature can be adjusted to between
50 and 650 degrees via the control panel
(4).
To switch off, turn the
step switch (5) to position "0".
Controlling the air volume
and temperature
The air volume and temperature can be
controlled via the control panel (4). The se-
lected setting is shown in the LCD display
(3).
Temperature setting
To control the temperature, the step switch
(5) must be at position “II”. The left and
right buttons on the control panel (4, see
next gure also) can be used to set the
temperature at 10 degree intervals.
Increase temperature.
Reduce temperature.
LCD display
- displays the selected temperature
- displays the current temperature
LCD lights up red = Pre-heating phase
LCD lights up green = Pre-set
temperature reached
The device has a memory function.
The LCD display shows the last set
temperature and saves it.
Setting the air volume
The air volume can be adjusted to between
250 and 500 l per minute. This is possible
from both position "I” and position "II” of
the step switch (5).
Increase air volume.
Reduce air volume.
