Initial start-up
When used for the first time, some smoke may
escape. The smoke is caused by binders which
are removed from the insulating film of the heater
by the heat during first use. To ensure that the
smoke escapes quickly, the product should be
placed on the standing position with it’s battery
pack on it’s base. Be sure to ventilate the work-
ing environment during first use. If the smoke/
odour is too strong, move the initial start-up to
outside!
Operation
Removing/inserting the

starts back up in the most recently used level.

for allowing the product to cool down after use.
Use of adapter nozzles

Various uses are possible. Always com-
ply with the safety instructions and al-
ways handle the product with care and caution.
Restrictor

, pay par-
ticular attention to the heat development
at the cutting point. If in doubt, do not stay in
the same place for too long in order to avoid
overheating the workpiece.

over a large surface.
When using the surface nozzle

, pay
particular attention to the heat develop-
ment in adjacent locations of the cutting point.
So that in cases of doubt, no adjacent compo-
nent is overheated.

der and tin pipes, as well as to shrink shrink
tubing.
