Checking the battery charge level
If the appliance is switched on, the status/remaining charge will
be shown on the battery LED 2 as follows:
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery
Switching on and off/cutting process
Switching on
♦ Press the On/Off switch
8. The active LED 1 lights up.
Switching off
♦ Press the ON/OFF switch
8 again. The active LED 1
goes out.
Cutting process
♦ Position the material to be cut under the cutting blade 7.
♦ Hold the safety switch 4 pressed and press the cutting button 5.
The cutting blade 7 moves down. When you release the cutting
button 5, the cutting blade 7 moves back to the original position.
Maintenance, cleaning and storage
■ Reattach the blade guard 0 to the appliance before storing
or transporting it.
■ Remove dirt from the device after each use. Use a dry cloth to
do this.
■ At the beginning and end of an extended period of non-use,
charge the battery fully.
