9. TROUBLSHOOTING
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
The hood does not work,
neither the motor nor the
lights.
(Hood with control panel)

Make sure the hood is connected to the mains, check that it
plugged in and that the electricity is working, check if the circuit
breaker has tripped.

Only in some models (especially those with a remote control), the
hood has an emergency switch, make sure that it is ON.

Reset as follows:
•
Disconnect the hood from the mains with the electric panel circuit
breaker and wait for 2 minutes before reconnecting.

If the problem is still not solved, contact Pando official technical
service.
The hood does not work,

Check that the remote-control battery is Ok, if not change the
battery.

Synchronise the control with the hood, following the remote-control
manual.

The lights do not work.

Check that the light is well connected and in good state.

If not replace the light. (In the case of an LED light, replacement must
be done by the Pando official technical service or a qualified
professional)

The hood turns on by itself.

In the case of remote controlled hoods or hoods prepared for remote
control this can happen exceptionally. As the hood has a receiver
which responds to a recorded code, it could happen that there is a
hood nearby that is controlled with a remote control using the same
code and this could affect your hood. To solve this problem, change
the code of the receiver module, using the process for changing the
control code and synching with your hood. Follow the instructions of
your remote control in the section changing code and synching.
