8.1. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE
HOOD
ENAMELLED HOODS
The hoods are enamelled with epoxy coating, baked at 200º. It is exceptionally hard and durable.
Nevertheless, depending on the products you use, its qualities could be adversely affected.
The best option for optimum cleaning of the OUTSIDE of the hood is standard neutral soap solution and then
finish with a damp cloth. DO NOT USE SCOURING PADS that can scratch the enamel, use only soft cloths
or sponges. Avoid soaking the hood with water when rinsing so it does not remain accumulated in the joints.
This, with time, could give rise to rusting.
If you choose to use different cleaning products, we recommend that they do not scratch the enamel and
DO NOT CONTAIN SILICONE, BLEACH, AMMONIA, CAUSTIC SODA OR ANY CORROSIVE AGENTS...
CORIAN HOODS
For correct maintenance of the Corian hood, we recommend you follow the instructions given by the
manufactures of Corian, in the website http://corian.es/Corian/es_ES/tech_info/care_maintenance.html,
where you can download the complete use and maintenance manual.
The following is not covered by the guarantee:
A. Improper or insufficient care or maintenance.
B. Unauthorised modifications or misuse.
C. Usage outside the specified conditions.
D. Physical, chemical or mechanical abuse (either direct or indirect such as corrosive gases).
E. Damage caused by excessive heat (direct) or by transmitted heat due to insufficient thermal insulation.
F. Insufficient preparation of the place where it is installed.

DEKTON HOODS
Being practically non-porous, the ultra-compact surface of Dekton® is highly resistant to stains from everyday
use as well as chemical products, being ideal for use in the kitchen.
For regular cleaning, it is recommended to use a specific cleaner for stone worktops, see the website, with a
sponge or soft-fibre scouring pad. If you do not have this product, the best thing is to use water and neutral
soap.
Precautions:
• Avoid direct very high temperature radiation such as from a fire place, barbeque, etc.
• Avoid direct contact with flames.
• Do not polish the surface. Avoid using metal scouring pads or abrasive pads.
