Symptoms Check
Power automatically turns o
unexpectedly.
Check the settings of No Signal Power O, [HDMI1 Wake UP],
[HDMI2,3,4 Wake UP, and No Activity Power O. Any of them may be
set to [On(Enable)].
Can not turn on.
The power LED ashes red and then
goes o immediately.
There is possibility of malfunction. Please contact Authorized Service
Centre.
No remote control operations can be
performed.
Check whether the batteries have discharged completely and, if they
have not, whether they were inserted properly.
Check whether the remote control sensor is exposed to an outdoor
light or a strong uorescent light.
Check whether any obstacle is present between the remote control
sensor and the remote control.
Is the IR sensor cable of the IR_IN terminal disconnected?
Check whether the remote control designed specifically for use with
the unit is being used. (The unit cannot be operated by any other
remote control.)
Check whether [Remote Controller Lock] is set to [On].
If the above doesn't help, the IR sensor may be broken.
Please contact Authorized Service Centre.
The top or bottom of the picture on the
screen is cut o.
Depending on the aspect setting, the top, bottom, left, and right of the
screen may be cut o. Please select your favorite aspect for the input
source.
There are areas at the top and bottom of
the screen where picture is not displayed
When using a video software program (such as a cinema size program)
with a screen wider than one in the 16:9 mode, blank areas seperate
from the images are formed at the top and bottom of the screen.
Parts of the unit become hot.
Even when the temperature of parts of the front, top and rear panels
has risen, these temperature rises will not pose any problems in therms
of performance or quality.
There is no picture displayed or sound
output sometimes.
When HDMI etc. signals are input to the display using a selector or
distributor, sound or images may not be output in the normal fashion
depending on the selector or distrubutor used.
The symptoms may be improved by turning the power o and on again,
or by replacing the selector or distributor.
Wake up without permission,
or Wake up but no picture appears
When Wake UP of HDMI2,3,4 is turned on, From standby, Wake UP
works when 5V signal from HDMI is input to any of the terminals.
The input source that was input first will be switched.
Wake UP is not always done with the last input source.
Some devices output 5V signals even when there is no video output.
Please check if the video signal is output.
All 5V signals of HDMI2,3,4 must be turned o to work standby.
The RS-232C is uncontrollable Check whether the connection has been made properly.
