Operating the Ceramic Hob
Before use
• Read this guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety Precautions’ section.
• Remove any protective fi lm that may still be on the Ceramic Hob.
Using the Touch Controls
• The controls respond to touch, so it is unnecessary to apply
any pressure.
• Use the ball of the fi nger, not its tip.
• A beep will sound each time a touch is registered.
• Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that there is
no object (e.g. a utensil or a cloth) covering them. Even a thin
fi lm of water could make the controls diffi cult to operate.
Using the Ceramic Hob
Start cooking
After power on, the cooktop beeps once, all the indicators light up for 20 seconds then goes
out, indicating that the ceramic hob has entered the state of standby mode.
