Conguring System Settings (Continued)
The System ⇒ Power Mode Standby menu becomes grayed out. The power standby mode is now changed
to Eco.
Note:
• OMS and LAN control remote power on functions will only work when Power Mode Standby is set to
Active.
• Active Standby mode consumes higher power since the system only turns off the backlight and the
mainboard is still actively waiting for a power on command from LAN and OMS. If you don’t have a need
for remote power-on, we suggest using Eco. Standby mode to save more power.
• It is also highly recommended that you switch back to Eco. Standby mode and turn off the IFP for a
period of time when Active Standby mode is not needed. This helps the IFP system to release memory
and CPU loading.
• Tap Google Account Management to congure your Google account settings and access other Google/
Android settings from the Google settings menus.
• Tap Upgrade to congure upgrading options. Tap any of the following:
- OTA (Over-The-Air) Software Upgrade to enable or disable upgrading software over Internet. Enable Check
update when power on and Auto download to check for rmware updates and download the updates (if
available) every time the IFP is powered on and connected to the Internet. If the Check update when power
on option is disabled, the system will not check for rmware upgrades automatically.
To update the system manually, tap Upgrade and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the upgrade
process.
Note: Upgrading software over Internet requires a stable network connection.
- Manual USB Upgrade to update the system from a USB ash disk.
- Manual USB Upgrade (wipe all user data after upgrade) to update the system from a USB ash disk by
removing all user data after the upgrade is complete.
