SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read all instructions carefully and keep the manual in a safe place for
future reference.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock in the event of a fault or malfunction,
the unit must be connected to a grounded outlet. Only connect the
appliance to sockets that correspond to the specied voltage of the
appliance.
• Place the unit near a power socket. Please make sure that the socket is
always accessible so that you can unplug the appliance before you move it,
clean it or if you are not going to use it for a long time.
• Do not bend, pull or twist the mains cable and make sure that no one steps
on it.
• In the event of a damaged power plug, the unit must no longer be used.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised specialist company or a similarly qualied person.
• Do not place the unit in damp rooms such as bathrooms. Make sure that no
water drips onto the unit.
• Do not use water hotter than 55 °C.
• Never put your hands into the washing machine or spin dryer while the
appliance is in operation. Make sure that children do not lean over the
laundry drum.
• Repairs to the unit should only be carried out by an authorised specialist
company.
• Converting or modifying the unit compromises product safety. Attention:
Risk of injury!
• Never open the unit without authorisation and never carry out repairs
yourself!
• Do not place hot, heavy or fragile objects on the appliance.
• Do not wash clothes that are contaminated with highly ammable
substances such as petrol or varnish or that have been treated with
solvents such as benzine.
• This device may only be used by children from the age of 8 and up or by
persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or a lack
of experience and / or knowledge if they are supervised or have been
instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting
dangers.
• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they
are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
• Children must not play with the device.
