Connections
Cable connections
The speaker systems offer various possibilities for balanced or unbalanced connection of professional audio
equipment. To avoid interfering noise, switch off the devices or set the output controls to minimum prior to
connecting and disconnecting equipment. Be sure to use only short, high-grade cables. The illustrations
below show the wiring of these cables.

Model PAS 208A | 210A
1) Feed the audio input signal via XLR or 6.3 mm plug to the INPUT jack. This input allows to connect
audio units with line level (e.g. mixer or CD player). When connecting line level devices, depress the
LINE/MIC level switch. Alternatively, you can connect microphones to the input. In this case, make sure
that the LINE/MIC level switch is disengaged.
2) At the balanced XLR output LINK, the input signal fed through is available.
Model PAS 212A | 215A
1) Feed the audio input signal via RCA, XLR or 6.3 mm plug to the CH 1 and CH 2 input jacks. These
inputs allow to connect audio units with line level (e.g. mixer or CD player). When connecting line level
devices to CH 2, depress the corresponding LINE/MIC level switch. Alternatively, you can connect
microphones to the CH 2 input. In this case, make sure that the LINE/MIC level switch is disengaged.
2) At the balanced XLR output LINK, the input signal fed through is available.
Model PAS 151A | 181A
1) As signal source, audio units with line level output (e.g. mixer, preamplifier) can be connected to the
inputs via XLR and 6.3 mm plugs, balanced and unbalanced. The inputs are designed for stereo signals.
2) The balanced XLR outputs provide the master signal. These outputs allow e.g. connecting active top
speakers when setting up a satellite system. Depress the HIGH PASS/FULL RANGE switch for a high-
pass filtered signal.
Power supply
Finally, connect the supplied power supply cable to the corresponding input and the mains plug to an outlet.
All models use an auto-range power supply that accepts input voltages between 190 und 250 volts.
