2.5 - CONDENSATION DRAIN
Thecondensationdrainnetworkmustbeopportunelydimensioned(minimuminternaldiameterofthepipe
mustbe16mm)andthepipelinemustbepositionedsoastoalwaysmaintainaspecicinclinealongtheroute,
neverlowerthan1%.Thedrainpipedirectlyconnectstooneofthetwodrainagebasins,positioneddown
onthesideshoulder,underthewaterconnectionsinfunctionofthetypeofinstallation:highwallorconsole.
- Ifpossible,makecondensationliquidowoutdirectlyinagutterorina“whitewater”drain.
- Incaseofdrainageintheseweragesystem,itisadvisedtocreateasiphontopreventtheperceptionof
badsmellstowardstherooms.Thecurveofthesiphonmustbelowerthanthecondensationcollection
basin.
- Ifcondensationmustbedrainedinsideacontainer,thelattermustremainopentotheatmosphereand
thepipemustnotbeimmersedinwater,avoidingproblemsofadhesivenessandcounterpressureswhih
wouldhinderfreeoutow.
- Ifadierenceinlevelwhichwouldhindercondensationoutowmustbeovercome,itisnecessaryto
installapump(accessorykit).
Inanycase,pleaseconsultthespecicinstructionsinthecondensationdisposalpumpkit.
It is still opportune, at the end of installation, to check for correct outow of condensation liquid
by pouring water in the collection basin very slowly (approximately 1/2 l of water over approxi-
mately 5-10 minutes).
2.5.a-Highinstallationcondensationdrainagedeviceassembly(g.9)
a. Connectapipe(16)forliquidoutowtothedrainagejunctionofthecondensationcollectionbasin(15).
b. Lockitadequately.
c. Checkthatthedripedgeextension(17)ispresentandinstalledcorrectly.
2.5.b-Lowinstallationcondensationdrainagedeviceassembly(g.10)
a. Connectapipe(19)forliquidoutowtothedrainagejunctionofthecondensationcollectionbasin(18).
b. Lockitadequately.
c. Checkthatthedripedgeextension(20)ispresentandinstalledcorrectly.
• Make sure the machine is perfectly levelled once installed, or with a slight in-
clination towards the direction of the condensation drain;
• Insulate the delivery and return pipes well up to the entrance of the machine,
so as to prevent condensation dripping out of the collection basin itself;
• Insulate the condensation drain pipe of the basin for its whole length.
2.6 - HOLDER ADJUSTMENT (Fig.11)
Theholderssuppliedtogetherwiththehydraulickitsallowforanadjustmentabletobalancetheloadlossesof
thesystem.Forcorrectadjustmentandbalancingofthecircuititisnecessarytofollowthefollowingprocedure::
a. Useascrewdrivertounscrewandextractthegrubscrewwithslotlocatedinsidethehexagonalsocket.
b. Closetheadjustmentscrewusinga5mmAllenwrench(4a).
c. Screwthegrubscrewwithslotuntilendoftravel.Thenmarkthereferencepointforadjustment(4b)with
a “x”.
d. Align the screwdriver to the “x”.
e. Openwithanumberofrotationsaccordingtothediagram∆p-Q(4c).
