d. Denitively lock the two brackets (S) by tightening the four screws completely.
e. Ensure their stability by manually moving the brackets rightwards and leftwards, up and down.
f. Mount the unit checking correct hooking on the brackets and its stability (g. 7).
g. To congure the electronic part, please refer to paragraph “2.14 Conguration”.
2.5 - HORIZONTAL ROOF INSTALLATION (only for versions without radiant
panel)
a. Use the template and mark on the roof the position of the two xing brackets and of the two rear screws.
b. Drill using an appropriate bit and insert the dowels (T), 2 for each bracket (g. 8).
c. Secure the two brackets (S) (g. 8). Do not tighten the screws excessively.
d. Place the machine on the two brackets, then x the two screws (V) in the rear dowels, one for each side,
while keeping it in position (g. 8).
e. It is recommended to tilt the unit towards the drain pipe to ease water drainage (g. 8).
f. Denitively tighten all the 6 xing screws.
g. To congure the electronic part, please refer to paragraph “2.14 Conguration”.
For this type of installation, the horizontal condensation collection tray kits are available as ac-
cessories.
2.6 - WATER CONNECTIONS
2.6.a - Pipelines diameter
The minimum internal diameter which must be respected for the pipelines of the water connections varies
depending on the model:
SLR/SL 200 ø12 mm
SLR/SL 400 ø14 mm
SLR/SL 600 ø16 mm
SLR/SL 800 ø18 mm
SLR/SL 1000 ø20 mm
SLR/SL 1100 ø20 mm
SLR/SL 1400 ø20 mm
SLR/SL 1600 ø20 mm
2.6.b - Connections
The choice and dimensioning of the water lines are responsibility of the designer who must operate in
accordance with good practice regulations and laws in force.
To perform the connections (g.9):
a. Position the water lines.
b. Tighten the connections using the method “wrench against wrench”.
c. Check for possible loss of liquid.
d. Coat the connections with insulating material.
• The water lines and the junctions must be thermally insulated
• Avoid partial insulations of the pipelines.
• Avoid tightening excessively not to damage insulation.
Use hemp and green paste for water tightness of the threaded connections; the use of Teon
tape is advised in the presence of antifreeze liquid in the water circuit.
2.7 - CONDENSATION DRAIN
The condensation drain network must be opportunely dimensioned (minimum internal diameter of the pipe
must be 16 mm) and the pipeline must be positioned so as to always maintain a specic incline along the route,
never lower than 1%. The drain pipe directly connects to one of the two drainage basins, positioned down
on the side shoulder, under the water connections in function of the type of installation: high wall or console.
