1. UNPACKING THE APPLIANCE AND DISPOSING OF THE EMBALLAGIC
ELEMENTS
• Remove all packing material around the appliance and the protective
elements inside the appliance compartments.
• Cartonboard and sheets of paper are recyclable. They must be
thrown in the collection bins provided for this purpose.
• Materials bearing the symbol are recyclable:
> PE <= polyethylene; > PS <= polystyrene; > PP <= polypropylene
This means that they can be recycled by depositing them into appropriate
collection containers.
• Other packaging elements (adhesive, fasteners, etc.) must be disposed of with
household waste.
2. ASSEMBLING THE FOOT OF THE FAN
Nest the 2 metal legs (A) to form a cross. Screw the 4 screws (C) firmly. Mount the
bracket (B) on the foot and then install the cover (M) on top.
Adjust the extension (D) to an optimal position and tighten the adjustment ring (E)
on the bracket to secure it.
3. ASSEMBLY OF THE GRILLES AND THE FIN
1. Mount the motor (N) on the support and secure it with the nut (F).
2. Loosen the motor nut (G). Mount the rear grille (H) firmly on the motor,
matching the 2 mounting studs. Tighten the nut (G) on the grille to lock the grille
on the motor.
3. Mount the fan blades (I) on the shaft. Secure them firmly with the reverse step
nut (J). The blades must be able to turn freely without touching the clamping
nut on the rear grille.
4. Unscrew the closing screw on the rear grille (L). Place the front grille on the
rear grille, matching the hole at the bottom of the front grill (2) with the hole in
the back grill (L). Secure the grilles with the clips and use a screwdriver to
tighten the locking screw (2 and L).
