4 FAULTS
4.1 Temperature control
The lamp is equipped with a temperature control
system to prevent overheating:
Above 40°C:
The device automatically switches o, and the first
pixel lights up as a warning.
In functional lighting mode between 35°C and
40°C:
The light intensity gradually decreases from 100% to
60% to protect the lamp.
This system ensures the lamp operates safely, even
at high temperatures.
4.2 External factors that can aect the
functionality
External factors that can aect functionality: Novy
products use infrared sensors. The functionality can
be aected by
an excessive amount of infrared light
in the surroundings,
− such as bright sunlight reflecting o shiny objects,
− direct exposure to halogen spots or incandescent
lamps, or proximity sensors of mobile phones.

Excessive steam may also be interpreted as a hand
gesture.
To prevent unintended activation due to these factors,
you can activate the locking function, which temporarily
disables the sensors. This function temporarily disables
the sensors, minimizing interference during cleaning
activities or in situations with many external influences
(see 3.8).
