5.1.2 Operating the hob with the Novy controller
After switching on the hob, the cooking zones are
controlled using the Novy controller. This is a smart
control that combines a touchscreen with a convenient
knob/push button.
When the hob is switched on or o via the on/o
button on the worktop, the controller also switches
on or o automatically. When enabled, the full range
of cooking functions is displayed on the controller.
The hob and the controller switch o automatically if
no power level is selected within 60 seconds.

For safety reasons, the controller only works within a
limited distance from the hob. If the distance is too
great, a message is displayed on the display asking
you to move closer to the hob.
