B) Mounted directly onto aceiling or wall

Warning: Always turn off thepower before beginning theinstallation.

1. Thepositions of themounting holes are marked on themountingplate.

Drillmounting holes in themarked positions.

2. Usethemounting plate as atemplate and mark where theholes are to be drilled

on thewall or ceiling. Useanappropriate size of drillbit.

3. Pullthepower supply cable through one of thegrommets (4). Fitthegasket (2)

onto thelight fitting (1).

4. Screwon themounting plate using thefasteners (12). Thesoft washer should be

placed closest to themountingplate.

5. Striptheend of thepower cable as

shown and connect it to theterminal

block (6). Bluewire to N and phase wire

to L. Thelight fitting is rated protection

class II

and does not require asafety

connection to electricalearth.

6. Makesure that thegasket (2) is fitted

correctly and that thecables don’t get

crushed between themounting plate and

thelight fitting.

7. Pushthelight fitting onto

themounting plate so that

themarkings (7) line up,

then twist thelight fitting

anticlockwise until it locks

intoplace.
