C) Mounted on aceiling/wall with surface mountedcable
Warning: Always turn off thepower before beginning theinstallation.
1. Thepositions of themounting holes are marked on themountingplate.
Drillmounting holes in themarked positions.
2. Usethemounting plate as atemplate and mark where theholes are to be drilled
on thewall or ceiling. Useanappropriate size of drillbit.
3. Pullthepower supply cable through one of thegrommets (4). Fitthegasket (2)
onto thelight fitting (1).
4. Attach thespacers (11) onto theback of themounting plate (over theholes)
using theself-adhesivetape.
5. Screwon themounting plate using thefasteners (12). Thesoft washer should be
placed closest to themountingplate.
6. Striptheend of thepower cable as shown
and connect it to theterminal block (6).
Bluewire to N and phase wire to L. Thelight
fitting is protection class II
and does not
require asafety connection to electricalearth.
7. Makesure that thegasket (2) is fitted correctly
and thecables don’t get crushed between
themounting plate and thelight fitting.
8. Pushthelight fitting onto
themounting plate so that
themarkings (7) line up,
then twist thelight fitting
anticlockwise until it locks
intoplace.
