The protective equipment is assigned for use during performing of normal skating sports. To lower
the risk of contusion the skating style should be adapted to the skater’s skills controlling fully
the skating track and speed.
The protective equipment shall not be used during riding a bike or motorcycle. The protective gear
are not assigned for use in sports requiring the equipment for acrobatic skating using rollerblades,
skateboards and in-line skates.

The protective gear performance level 1 - they are assigned for use during performing of normal
skating sports according to EN 14120:2003+A1:2007 norm.

According to EN norm 14120:2003+A1:2007, the protective gear are assigned for users with body
mass in ranges:
body mass range A <25
body mass range B 25-50
body mass range C > 50kg

To ensure optimum protection, the protective gear size must be chosen according to the body
parameters.
Putting on the protective gear and straps regulation on elbows and knees.
1. Unfasten the self-fastening belts.
2. Place the protective gear on knee or elbow.
3. Wrap the belt around knee or elbow and fasten it in the front of the protective gear.

1. Unfasten the self-fastening belts.
2. Place thumb in the protective gear opening, the way that the reinforced part is on the inner side
of palm.
3. Wrap the belt around wrist and fasten it.
The protective gear shall be fastened properly, to avoid theirs sliding down and to ensure maximum
safety. But the belts should not be fastened to strong as it can cause improper circulation of blood.
5. USE5. USE
Before use, the condition of protective gear must be checked. To ensure long eciency of the self-
fastening straps, they should be kept in good condition and manipulated with care. If the self-fastening
straps looses theirs fastening ability, the protective gear must be replaced with new one. Validity
period: 3 years.
