9. Transport when
traveling
9.1 Transport lock
To secure the toothbrush10 against acci-
dentally being switched on, activate the
transport lock.
• Switching on the transport lock:
Hold down the on/off switch
7 until
the LED
6 flashes red three times.
• If you try to switch on the tooth-
brush10 with the transport lock activat-
ed, the LED
6 will flash red.
• Switching off the transport lock:
Hold down the on/off switch
7 until
the LED
6 flashes red three times.
9.2 Travel case
The travel case14 has space for the tooth-
brush10 and 2 toothbrush heads3.
• Open the travel case14 by pressing
on the pressure cap15.
• Close the travel case14 by carefully
pressing the lid down until it audibly
clicks into place.
10. Cleaning / Hygiene
requirements
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~ Before cleaning the battery charg-
er12, pull the mains plug13 out from
the mains socket.
~ Do not immerse the toothbrush10 and
battery charger12 in water! The bat-
tery charger12 must be completely dry
before you reconnect it to the wall sock-
et.
• To ensure the hygienic functionality of
the toothbrush heads3 they must be
rinsed thoroughly after every use and al-
lowed to dry.
• Remove the toothbrush head3 once per
week and clean it in hot water.
• Rinse the toothbrush10 as well and
wipe it dry.
• Wipe the battery charger12 and the
travel case14 with a damp cloth if nec-
essary and rub dry.
11. Storage
• Disconnect the device from the mains
and store it in a dry location.
12. Disposal
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Direc-
tive 2012/19/EC. The symbol
showing a wheelie bin crossed
through indicates that the
product requires separate refuse collection
in the European Union. This applies to the
product and all accessories marked with this
symbol. Products marked as such may not
be discarded with normal domestic waste,
but must be taken to a collection point for re-
cycling electrical and electronic devices.
This recycling symbol marks e.g.
an object or parts of the materi-
al as valuable for recycling.
Re-
cycling helps to reduce the
consumption of raw materials
and protect the environment.
The battery integrated into this device must
not be treated as household waste. The de-
vice with the installed battery must be dis-
posed of properly. When disposing of this
device, the waste disposal facility responsi-
ble must be informed that the device con-
tains an integrated battery.
