TRANSLATION (USER) MANUAL
Puller with separator and actuator : 11-847
NOTE: BEFORE USING THE EQUIPMENT, PLEASE READ THIS
MANUAL CAREFULLY AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
PERSONS WHO HAVE NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD
NOT CARRY OUT ASSEMBLY, ADJUSTMENT OR OPERATION OF
THE EQUIPMENT.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS
NOTE!
Read the operating instructions carefully, follow the warnings and safety
conditions contained therein. The appliance has been designed for safe
operation. Nevertheless: installation, maintenance and operation of the
appliance can be dangerous. Following the following procedures will
reduce the risk of injury and will shorten the installation time of the
appliance.
SAFETY RULES
The puller must be assembled according to the instructions before use, all
nuts correctly tightened. Extensions must not be used on the hydraulic
cylinder arm. The device is designed so that hand strength is sufficient.
The component to be dismantled must be firmly clamped in a vice or other
holding device. The puller should only be used for components such as
bearings etc. which have been installed by fitting. Always check that the
puller is correctly assembled and positioned perpendicular to the
workpiece.
DO NOT use damaged or worn tools. Inspect them before each use.
DO NOT heat the jaws of the puller while the gear wheel or bearing is
being heated, as this will harden the jaws and thus affect their strength.
DO NOT hit the workpiece or actuator with a hammer if the workpiece
cannot be removed despite applying maximum puller force. Use a more
powerful puller.
IMPORTANT: Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer's service
instructions or owner's manual to determine the correct method of
servicing according to the procedures and parameters specified. This
service manual is for guidance only.
Purpose
The actuator with separator is designed for the removal of bearings, gears
and other components that were fixed by a tight fit.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
MONTAGE
Installation sequence of the components
Open the packaging, check that all kit components are in the case.
NOTE: Depending on the necessary length of the puller, the main bars
should be installed in a different order.
Single main bar
• The assembly of the separator starts by screwing the actuator fig. A1
into the threaded hole fig. B17 in the beam fig. A3. Assembly is the
same for both cases fig. C1.
• Screw the main rod, fig. A4, with the shorter threaded section, fig. B4,
into the holes of the separator, fig. B3; correctly fitted rods are shown
in fig. C2.
• Then unscrew the nuts and remove the washers fig. B13 the beam
slots fig. B12 over the ends of the main bracket fig. A4. Then secure
the whole with washers and nuts fig. B13.
• Place the actuator extension fig. A6 or fig. A7 on the end of the fig. B7
actuator. The set is ready for operation.
Extended bar
• Screw the main rod, fig. A5, with a section with internal thread, fig. B5,
into the holes of the separator, fig. B3; correctly fitted rods are shown
in fig. D1.
• Screw the main rod fig. A4, with the shorter threaded section fig. B4
into the holes of the extension rod fig. B14, correctly fitted rods are
shown in fig. D2.
• Then unscrew the nuts and remove the washers fig. B13 the beam
slots fig. B12 over the ends of the main bracket fig. A4. Then secure
the whole with washers and nuts fig. B13.
• Place the actuator extension fig. A6 or fig. A7 on the end of the fig. B7
actuator. The set is ready for operation.
ATTENTION: It is imperative that the order of the main bars is maintained,
if the order is confused it will not be possible to safely install the beam with
the actuator.
