Turning the device on/o
Once the dash cam is properly installed, it will turn
on/o once the vehicle engine is started/shut o,
respectively. You can also turn the device on or o
manually by pressing the power button (the topmost
function button).
When you power on your dash cam for the rst
time, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the
following:
l
Select your preferred language.
l
Select your local timezone.
l
Set the preferred distance unit.
Resetting your dash cam
Occasionally you may need to force the device to restart when it stops responding or
becomes “frozen” or unresponsive. Press and hold down the power button for approximately
10 seconds then release the button to restart the device.
