5. Machine Maintenance

The power of the machine should be fully cut off before maintenance.
Daily maintenance to the machine is necessary to lengthen the service life of the machine
and to achieve best packing effect. If the machine is frequently used (more than four hours per
day), it is suggested to do professional maintenance every three month. If the machine is used
less than four hours per day, it is advisable to do comprehensive maintenance very six month
(according to place, environment and product).
However, some users could do simple following maintenance to the machine according to
their practical needs.
6.1 Maintenance precautions
Before maintenance, the machine must be completely disconnected from the power supply,
and the power plug must be taken out of the wall socket.
If the machine cannot operate normally or abnormal noises, please turn off the power
immediately and contact the manufacturer or supplier.
Do not perform high-pressure cleaning on the machine. High-pressure cleaning will seriously
damage the electronics and other parts of the machine.
Do not let water enter the control panel of the machine, otherwise it will damage the circuit.
In order for the blade to cut the paper tape well, there must be no glue, dust, etc. on the blade.
These foreign objects need to be removed from the blade.
When the brush is cleaned and put back into the water storage hopper, pay attention to the
placement direction of the brush. The wrong direction will lead to the risk of poor wetting and
jamming of the paper tape.
If the user do not maintain the machine according to the instructions in this manual, which
results in malfunction or damage to the machine, the manufacturer will not be held responsible.
6.2 Maintenance period table

Weekly
1. Wash the brush with warm soapy water to ensure it is rinsed
well.
2. Use a dry brush or blower to clean all accumulated tape and
dust.

Clean the water storage bucket with warm soapy water to
ensure it is rinsed well.
Monthly
1. Use a scraper to remove the glue accumulated on the blade.
(Do not scratch the blade, it may make the blade dull)
Note: The blade is sharp, please handle it carefully.
2. Apply a light oil coating on the back of the blade.
Every three years
1. Use a dry brush or blower to thoroughly clean all
accumulated tape, tape dust and any other foreign objects inside
the machine.
2. Clean the pressure plate with glue.
3. Gently lubricate the upper and lower blades with light engine
oil.
4. Clean all covers with a damp cloth.
