3.5. Cleaning and maintenance
a) Store the device in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
b) Regularly inspect the device for technical failure and damage.
c) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
d) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or metal
scraper) as these may damage the surface of the device.
e) Before each cleaning or maintenance operation, and when the equipment is
not in use, disconnect the pressure hose and open the valves to equalize the
pressure.
f) Used oil shall be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
g) Clean the device stained with oil on the outside with a soft cloth or a brush and
using, for example, gasoline or other non-aggressive degreasing and cleaning
agents for workshop applications.
