MAINTENANCE & SAFETY
• Regularly check ramps for worn, loose or damaged parts – If found any damage do not use it
anymore and contact the service department.
• Always use both ramps (if multi pieces), and ensure they are level and parallel to each other.
• Ensure ramps are fully extended and locked in position (if retractable).
• Do not attempt to use ramps at a steep gradient. Please also check the gradient if for
example a wheelchair or scooter is capable of.
• Do not exceed the weight capacity of the ramps.
• Only allow one person/ mobility vehicle to use the ramps at once.
• The surface of the ramps may become slippery in icy or wet conditions. Take caution in
these conditions.
• Keep your ramps clean of any dirt or debris as this could interfere with its sliding motion.
• Always use both ramps in line with the wheelchairs/scooter manufacturer’s
guidelines; NEVER use it at a steeper gradient than recommended.
• Do not modify or add anything as it could void warranty claims.
• Do not use the ramp for anything other than its original intended purpose.
• Only clean your ramps with mild detergent.
• Use caution when adjusting the length of your ramps and avoid any pinch points.
CLEANING
Clean your Ramps using a mild detergent with a slightly damp, soft cloth only. Only use a mild
detergent or disinfectant; never use an abrasive cleaner.
After cleaning, leave the ramp/ramps in some warm and dry place or wipe over with a dry,
soft cloth. Do not leave in a direct contact with a heat source.
Use common sense and do not take any unnecessary risks when using this product; the user
must accept liability for safety when using the product.
