WORKING ADVICE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Before starting, test the cutting speed on a sample piece to determine the
ideal pace for your cutting form. If the edges are not clean or if there are
burned areas, you are pushing the cutting fixture too slowly.
2. The cutting speed and temperature are correct if you do not need to use any
force to push the fixture through the material. It should feel like the wire is
cutting through soft butter. Pushing too hard risks accelerating wear on the
springs or wire suspension. An optimal cut should produce little to no smoke.
If smoke appears or the cut is unclean, you are cutting too slowly, or the tool
temperature is too high.
3. To reduce the temperature, briefly release the On/Off switch while cutting. If
resistance increases during the cut, press the On/Off switch again.
4. Turn off the On/Off switch 3-5 cm before reaching the end of the cut to
prevent adhesion to the tool.
