- Information on the maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours can be found on
the appliance’s rating plate;
- the freezing process takes 24 hours. Do not add any other food to be frozen during this time;
- Only the best quality fresh food should be frozen;
- Food should be frozen in small portions to enable it to be frozen quickly and completely and
to allow only the required amount to be thawed;
- Wrap food in aluminium foil or food wrap and ensure the packaging is airtight;
- do not allow fresh, thawed food to come into contact with frozen food, thus avoiding an in

crease in temperature;

low-fat products keep better than fatty products. The salt content shortens the shelf life of
frozen food;

frozen products consumed immediately after removal from the freezer can cause frostbite
on the skin;
- it is advisable to include the date of freezing on the packaging so that the shelf life of the food

Tips for storing frozen food
For the best performance of the appliance:
- ensure that the frozen food on sale has been properly stored by the retailer;
- keep the period of time between purchasing frozen food and placing it in the freezer as short
as possible;
- Avoid opening the door frequently. Do not leave the door open for long periods of time.
Once thawed, frozen food spoils quickly and is not suitable for re-freezing.
Do not store food beyond the best-before date.
Fresh food storage tips
For best results:
- Do not store warm food or steaming liquids in the fridge.
- Cover or wrap food, especially if it has astrong smell
Tips for storing food in the refrigerator
Useful tips:
- For all types of food: wrap in plastic bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable
drawer.
- Store in this way for no more than afew days.
- Cooked food, cold dishes etc. should be covered and placed on any shelf.
- Fruits and vegetables: wash thoroughly and place in special drawer(s).

Butter and cheese: store in special airtight containers or wrap in aluminium foil or plastic bags
so that as little air as possible gets through.
- Milk bottles: cap and store on ashelf on the door.
- Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic can only be stored in packaging.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF THE FRESHNESS COMPARTMENT
- The temperature can be adjusted to suit the type of food stored.

Move the knob up from the bottom, the temperature in the freshness compartment will grad-
ually decrease.

When the knob is from the ‘CRISPER’ position, the compartment can function as ahumidi-
ty-controlled humid zone for vegetables and fruit.
