TROUBLESHOOTING
BEFORE contacting your local service centre, please check the following points:
SYMPTOM SOLUTION
No power
• Check that there is power in the socket. Check for any power failure. Check the lights in the
apartment.
• Check whether the fuse has blown.
Freezer section temperature is too
high
• Verify that the ambient temperature is within the unit operating limits of 16°C to 38°C. Move the
device if necessary.
• Check that the thermostat is turned to the correct setting for the ambient conditions.
Freezer door won't open
• Was the door just opened? If so, left it untouched for a few minutes and allow the air pressure
to equalize.
The compressor runs continuously
• Adjust the thermostat to obtain the correct temperature. See page 5. Check whether the door
is closed.
• Large amounts of food have recently been placed in the drawer and/or the door is opened
frequently.
• Check the patency of air ventilation.
A lot of frost and ice accumulated
• Make sure the door is not left open.
• Check that nothing prevents the door from closing.
• Check that the door seal is intact and clean.
• Check whether the recommended periodic defrosting has been performed.
