DE-FROZING FROZEN FOOD
Thawed or thawing food should be used quickly. Low temperature preserves food but does
not destroy microorganisms that quickly become active and spoil food during defrosting. Par-
tial defrosting reduces the nutritional value of products, especially vegetables and fruits, as
well as ready meals.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
FREEZER DEFROSTING
Frost and ice form inside the freezer, which must be removed when their layer reaches a thick-
ness of about 3-5 mm.
24 hours before the planned defrosting of the device, set the thermostat knob to the “max-
imum” position so as to cool the products as much as possible. After this time, remove the
contents of the freezer and protect the products from defrosting.
Turn o the power to the appliance and place a tray of defrosted frost in front of the freezer.
When defrosting, do not use chemical defrosting agents as they can damage the plastic parts
of the freezer and are harmful to health as well.
CLEANING THE FREEZER
Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the power supply. Do not use corrosive and
harsh cleaning agents to avoid damaging the surface. When cleaning, be careful to remove
any residue of cleaning agents.
Clean the outside of the device with water and liquid detergent. Painted surfaces should be
cleaned with a soft cloth and an alcohol-based cleaning agent (e.g. glass cleaner). Alcohol can
be use for that purpose. It is forbidden to clean plastic or painted parts with grainy or harsh
cleaning agents, such as stainless steel cleaners.
Clean the inside of the device with lukewarm water and vinegar.
The condenser on the back of the device can be cleaned with a soft, non-metallic brush or
remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner. After washing is done, connect the device to the
electricity supply, turn it on and quickly put the products inside.
STOPS IN USING THE FREEZER
If the appliance will not be used for a long time, disconnect it from the power source, remove
all the food stored inside, then defrost and wash it. The door should open.
CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF OPENING DOOR
The side on which the door opens can be changed from the right (factory setting) to the left,
if such and action is required by the mounting site.
Warning! The device cannot be connected to the network while changing the door opening side.
Remove the mains plug beforehand.
