Stop the engine an d disc onnect the spa rk plug le ad using heat re sistant gloves.
Che ck blad e attachment bolt is tig ht.
Che ck cond ition of blade. If serious ly w orn or dam ag ed r eplace with a new on e.

Stop the engine an d disconnect the spa rk plug le ad using heat re sis tant glo ve s.
Che ck and m ake s ure the re is no bu ild up of grass inside the casin g.
Che ck grass catcher is allowing air to flo w throu gh th e fab ric; if it is clogge d it s ho uld be washe d
car efully .
If th e grass ca tche r is n ot clog ged rais e the heigh t of cut to incre as e air flow.
Che ck to ensur e th e engine is runnin g at the co rre ct spee d, (ap proxim ately 3 000 rpm ).
If co nditions ar e to o severe to u se the gra ss catc he r, rem ov e it and work with the deflec tor in po sition.
