• DO NOT substitute components. Substitution of component could void the
intrinsic safety rating and result in unsafe condition of hazardous areas.
• DO NOT change batteries or accessories in hazard areas, To reduce the
risk of ignition of a flammable atmosphere, battery pack must only be
changed in non-flammable areas.
• Unauthorized modification, or incorrect repair or service to the intrinsically
safe product could adversely affect the certification rating and result in
unsafe condition in hazardous areas.
• DO NOT operate a UL Listed Product in a hazardous atmosphere if it has
been physically damaged (for example, cracked housing). An explosion or
fire may result.
• DO NOT replace or change accessories in a hazardous atmosphere.
Contact sparking may occur while installing or removing accessories and
cause an explosion or fire.
• DO NOT disassemble a UL Listed Product unit in any way that exposes the
internal electrical circuits of the unit.
