- Disconnect the UPS from the external power supply during long
periods of inactivity
- Protect the external power supply from overvoltages by using
appropriate protection systems
- Do not use the device in the presence of ammable gases or
explosive atmospheres
- Keep the device out of the reach of children and unauthorised
persons
- Dispose of used batteries according to local environmental
regulations
- Do not incinerate batteries or dispose of them in household waste
- Periodically monitor the condition of the battery and replace it
according to the instructions of qualied technical personnel
- Check the correct operation of the UPS regularly by means of
simulation tests
- Keep this document for future reference.
