• Before proceeding with the connection, it is ne-
cessary to cut off the power supply of the ap-
pliance to which the chronothermostat must be
connected.
• The installation of the units must be carried out
on a solid, at and stable surface, protected
from excessive temperature changes and direct
air currents.
• Do not immerse the chronothermostat in any li-
quid during its use: it is advisable to check that
it does not come into contact with liquids, even
in accidental cases. Therefore, avoid installing it
near containers, aquariums, ower pots, sprin-
klers, automatic sprayers, humidiers, taps, pi-
pes, drains, gutters, tubs and the like.
• The chronothermostat cannot be installed in
excessively humid environments or in atmo-
spheres where there are chemical agents,
excessive pressures, and the possibility of igni-
tion of ames or explosions.
• The thermostat must not be installed under di-
rect sunlight: this circumstance is normally to
be avoided not only for safety but also for its
functionality.
• The product must not be used if one of the two
parts has excessive heating, swelling, changes
in shape and color, lesions or previously absent
