Using the recorder
The Function button
The button can perform a number of functions based on how it was pressed.
Device ON/OFF: Press and hold the button for two seconds to power the device
on or o, or press and hold the button for 10 seconds to force shut down the
device.
Standby Mode: During recording, press the
button once to enter Standby Mode, which stops
the recording and enables WIFI for connecting
to the smartphone. Press the button again
to exit Standby Mode and resume recording.
Under Standby Mode, your Mio will turn o
automatically after ve minutes of inactivity (no
WIFI connection).
Formatting memory card: Press the button four
times consecutively within two seconds.
