6. MAINTENANCE: CLEANING

In order to ensure the product is always clean:

· Use puried water

· Change the water in the base (2) on a daily basis if all the water is not consumed.

· Always remove the water from the base (2) when you are not using the device.

· Dry the device with a soft cloth to prevent lime deposits.

· Clean the base of the unit (2) and the ultrasonic transducer (6) on a regular basis as illustrated in

the following item.

Cleaning the base (every 2 - 3 weeks)

· Use a mixture of vinegar dissolved in water to remove lime deposits from the base. In the event of

lime deposits on the vibration plate (6), clean it gently with a cotton bud soaked in vinegar.

· Do not use detergent to clean any parts containing water as this could interfere with the unit´s

outlet if it comes into contact with the water.

Cleaning the outside of the device

· Use a cloth and water of less than 40º C in temperature to clean any stains from the outside of the

device. The vapor outlet nozzle can be washed directly in a jet of water.

Storing the device

· When you do not intend to use the apparatus for a long period of time remove the water from the

base (2). Clean the device, dry it thoroughly and place it in its original packaging.
