Transport of Lithium batteries
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods
Legislation requirements.
Transportation of those batteries has to be done in accordance
with local, national and international provisions and regulations.
• The user can transport the batteries by road without further
requirements.
• Commercial transport of Lithium-Ion batteries by third parties is
subject to Dangerous Goods regulations. Transport preparation
and transport are exclusively to be carried out by appropriately
trained persons and the process has to be accompanied by
corresponding experts.
When transporting batteries:
• Ensure that battery contact terminals are protected and
insulated to prevent short circuit.
• Ensure that battery pack is secured against movement within
packaging.
• Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leak.

TRANSPORTATION
Remove the battery pack before transportation.
Use two people whenever it is necessary to lift or carry the
machine. Machine is heavy. Lift with legs, not back.
To lift, grasp the transport handle
WARNING Do not lift with a forklift. Do not lift with an excavator
bucket. Only lift machine with certified lifting gear.
To hoist (lift) the machine, use the center of the transport handle
as the anchor point. Ensure the hoisting strap will not slip or
contact other parts.
Transporting with a Vehicle
Remove the battery pack and fold the handle in storage position.
Using suitable tie downs secure the plate compactor within the
transport vehicle using transport handles as tie downs.
CLEANING
Remove the battery before cleaning the tool.
Allow the engine to cool before cleaning.
When the engine has cooled, remove all debris using a soft
brush, wiping cloth and a mild cleaning detergent.
Do not use a high pressure water jet.
Avoid getting water inside the motor, batterie compartment,
electronics housing or into the on/off switch on the handle.
If you are not going to use the machine for a long period of time,
allow it to dry thoroughly and store it in a clean, dry and dust-free
place.
Never use fl ammable or combustible solvents around the tool.
