Cleaning the plinth filter
Pull the handle out of the plinth filter.
Clean the plinth filter carefully and
thoroughly under running water.
To collect the cleaning water,
place a bowl or bucket under the
stopcock.
Tip: To speed up the removal of residue
from the surface, run a water jet vertic-
ally over the front of the plinth filter.
Squeeze the plinth filter very carefully
several times as you rinse it.
Tip: Place the plinth filter flat in the
bowl or bucket.
To efficiently loosen underlying
residue, gently press down on the
plinth filter with the back of your
hand.
Rinse the entire plinth filter thor-
oughly until all visible residue has
been removed.
Carefully squeeze the plinth filter with
the back of your hand until all of the
water has been removed.
Tip: To soak up water, place the damp
plinth filter between 2hand towels. On
an even surface, gently press down on
the plinth filter with the back of your
hand. This will dry the plinth filter more
quickly.
The plinth filter must not be fitted
dripping wet.
Otherwise, this could cause a fault.
Carefully squeeze the water out of
the plinth filter.
