The durations given are for an oven
which has not been pre-heated.
Use shelf level 1 or 2 depending on the
height of the food.
In general, if a range of temperatures is
given, it is best to select the lower
temperature and to check the food after
the shortest duration.
Roast with the lid on first, then remove
the lid three-quarters of the way
through roasting and add approx. ½
litre liquid.
