Inserting the panel
Hook the panel into the hinges from
behind and slide the panel to the left.
Lift the panel upward and press it into
the locking clips.
Resetting the grease filter operating
hours counter
After cleaning, the operating hours
counter needs to be reset via the
controls on the ventilation hood.
With the blower switched on, press
the operating hours control for
approximately 3seconds until only 1
is flashing.
The grease filter symbol goes out.
When cleaning the grease filters before
the full operating time has elapsed:
Press the operating hours
control for approximately
6seconds until only 1 is flashing.
Replacing the grease filters
Regular usage and cleaning can cause
the filter surfaces to become worn or
brittle.
If you identify any damage, replace the
grease filters.
Grease filters are available to order via
Miele Service (see end of these
operating instructions for contact
details) or from your Miele dealer.
OdorFree Charcoal Filter
Reactivation interval for the charcoal
filter
Keep in mind that only charcoal filters
with the model number Miele DKF...-R
are reactivatable.
Reactivate the charcoal filter when it no
longer absorbs kitchen odors effectively.
After an operating time of 180hours,
the charcoal filter symbol will light up
to remind you to reactivate the charcoal
filter.
It is recommended to reactivate the
charcoal filter after 6months at the
latest.
Installing/replacing the charcoal filter
Remove the panel and the grease
filters.
Remove the charcoal filter from its
packaging.
