Installing the Filter
1. The filter mounting box is located in the lower left corner of the refrigerating chamber. Remove
the protection block before installing the filter.
2. Push the filter inward, then turn the filter knob clockwise 90°.

3. The filter knob is locked in the horizontal position.
Flushing the water system
• When using the refrigerator for the first time, it is necessary to perform an air purge; otherwise,
water may not be dispensed.
• Air purge steps: Place a container with a large opening under the water outlet, press and hold
the water dispenser for at least 5 minutes (approximately 2.5 gallons) to expel the air and
impurities from the water lines. During this process, the noise from the dispenser may be loud
due to the air being expelled.
• If the refrigerator has not been used for a long time, repeat the above steps to remove
impurities.
Note:
Do not dispense the entire 2.5 gallons amount continuously. Depress and release the dispenser for
cycles of 30 seconds ON and 60 seconds OFF. In some homes, additional flushing may be required.
