Ice Maker
How to use
1. Connect the water line as per the installation instructions.
2. The ice maker function is turned on by default. If you do not need ice, you need to manually turn
off the ice maker.
3. Collect ice cubes from the ice storage box.
Notes for use of ice maker:
> The ice maker begins producing ice only when the freezer compartment has reached the
specified temperature.
> Typically, the refrigerator takes about 8 hours to produce the first ice cubes after being
powered on.
> After the first successful ice making cycle, each subsequent cycle takes approximately 100
minutes, assuming an ambient temperature of 21°C and that the door remains closed. Each
cycle produces about 100 grams of ice, which is roughly equivalent to 10 ice cubes.
> The ice maker continues to make ice until the ice detection rod on the ice maker touches the ice;
when the ice detection rod touches the ice in the ice box, the ice making process stops. At this
time, the ice storage box is full of ice.
The ice making time may be extended in the following situations:
> The freezer chamber is not fully cooled at the beginning of use.
> The temperature is low in winter or the ambient temperature is high in summer.
> The door is opened and closed many times; or more food is put in at one time.
> The space around the refrigerator is too narrow.
