Routine maintenance.
Remove dust regularly with a damp cloth. If
necessary, use a non-aggressive cleaning agent.
Never use petrol or solvents.
Regularly check that the condensation drain holes
and the holes in the floor are not blocked.
Clean the filter (1). Carry out this operation regularly.
Wash the filters with a detergent solution and allow
to dry before reinstalling. Charcoal filters (2)
(optional) It is recommended to change the charcoal
filters every year.
(Un-)packing, content.
Follow the instructions on the packaging. Lift the machine (with 2 people) and check that it is in good condition. Lift it by the handles
or the supports on the base. The package contains the air conditioner, the remote control, the corresponding set of nozzles, the
hose and this manual. Keep the air conditioner in its original packaging when not in use.
Choice of place of installation.
In order to achieve uniform climate control in a vehicle, the machine must be installed as close to the centre as possible in a cabinet
or similar device. Position the machine so that it is easily accessible for servicing and easy to remove and install. Place the installation
template in the space provided for the installation and check the space available for the openings in the floor. To minimise the
transmission of noise and vibrations during operation, the machine must have a minimum distance of 30 mm on each side from walls
and fittings. The machine must be installed on the floor.
To facilitate the replacement of the filter, a distance of 200 mm must be maintained between the front of the machine and the walls
of the compartment.
When installing in external compartments (e.g. false floors), the air to be treated must be drawn in from the passenger compartment
of the vehicle. Drawing in outside air can significantly reduce the performance of the system.
