USING THE APPLIANCE

Initial Use Of The Appliance

Remove any protective foils and labels that may be present on the

device.

Before the rst use, wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and dry it.

Wash the removable parts of the burners by hand with a sponge,

some dishwashing detergent and hot water. Then after rinsing and

drying the parts, assemble the burners back together (see assembling

the hob burner parts).

Connect the appliance to the gas and electricity. Metal parts are pro-

tected with a care product. Thus, when the appliance is switched on

for the rst time, odours and possibly smoke occur.

These resulting smell and smoke do not indicate that the appliance is

malfunctioning or connected incorrectly and these are not harmful to

health.

Using Gas Hob Section

1. Before starting to use your cooktop, be sure burner hoods are at

correct position. Correct placement of burner hoods are shown in the

following gure.

2. Before operating the hob burner, make sure that the burner body,

burner ducts, burner pool and injector hole are dry and clean.
