ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
This hob shall be correctly installed and connected by the authorised
service and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
WARNING: The electrical connections of the appli-
ance should only be made with (grounded) sockets
with a grounding system that is laid in accordance
with the rules.
Contact an authorised electrician if there is no suitable socket for
the grounded system where your appliance will be placed. The manu-
facturer is absolutely not responsible for the damages caused by the
ungrounded sockets connected to the appliance.
Your hob conforms to protection class I. Your hobs plug should be
grounded; make sure the plug socket is grounded. The plug shall be
placed so that it can be accessed after installation.
Your hob has been produced in compliance with 220-240 V ~ 50-60
Hz. electricity supply and requires a fuse of 16 A. If your power net-
work does not provide these specications, contact an electrician or
an authorised service.
WARNING: When making the connection, take
safety precautions against turning on power unin-
tentionally.
WARNING: The power supply cable should not
touch the hot parts of the appliance.
WARNING: If the power supply cord is damaged,
this cord shall be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent or an equally qualied personnel to
prevent a hazardous situation.
