` Under no circumstances must liquids penetrate inside the device as this may

cause damage.

` Do not expose the screen to strong sunlight or ultraviolet light.

NOTICE!

Risk of damage!

To avoid damaging the device, never allow the plug

contacts to come into contact with water.

` If this nevertheless happens, it is essential that the

plug contacts are rubbed dry before using the device

again.

23.7. Storage when not in use

Store the notebook in a cool, dry place if you are not going to use it for an extended

period of time and make sure that it is protected from dust and extremes of

temperature.

` Remove all media from the USB slots and the card reader.

` Remove all cables and connected peripheral devices.

When the notebook is not in use, we recommend storing it in a bag to

protect it from dust and dirt.

23.7.1. Battery Protection (Shipping Mode)

To activate transport mode, the device must be in battery operation mode. For this,

the mains adapter must not be connected. The battery charge level must be at least

25% and may not be more than 70%.

Loss of data!

Unintentional or random changes to UEFI settings may

affect the stable and safe operation of the system.

` Changes must only be carried out by specialists or

very experienced users.

If you cannot use your notebook for a longer period of time (e.g. you go on holiday)

activate the battery protection manually in your device’s UEFI. This protects your

battery from fully discharging.
