4. Initial use
• Remove the packaging.
• Check the device, mains plug and cable for damage.
• Connect the device to the mains. When doing so, the device must be switched off.
• Ensure that the cable does not pose a trip hazard.
• Charge the device for approximately 3 hours before the first use. When the charger
indicator lamp flashes green, the battery is charging. The device is fully charged when the
lamp shows solid green. You can then use the device either on battery power or with the
mains cable.
• If the charger indicator lamp flashes red when running on battery power, it means that the
battery is empty. Charge the device by connecting it to the mains adapter.
• One charge is sufficient for approx. 25 minutes of cordless operation. After that you can
continue to use the device via mains operation.
