Controlling Data Usage
This function can be used to sync your SIM card’s data allowance with the router. This configuration will not
reset when the router is turned off so can be used to monitor usage and to understand when you are nearing
your maximum allowance.
Warning:
This should be used as a guide only. For exact usage and allowance usage, please contact your service provider.
1. From the Web User Interface, select ‘Network’ and then ‘Interfaces’ from the menu. Click the ‘Edit’
button on the internet connection (i.e the pencil icon)
3. Change the Data limit value to your desired setting
(i.e 2000mb) and period and month. Then click ‘Save
& Apply’.
4. SMS warning texts can also be set up in the same
way, however this will send a warning text when you
are nearing your allowance limit.
Other Functions
The Roam 5G Router offers a vast number of functions. These include features such as SMS remote control,
accessing SMS messages and custom configuration. These features are advanced and should only be used by a
competent user.
